CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
Ok everyone,
It’s been almost 6 months, but that spark that was ignited back in October of 2010 has finally lit. After doing much market research, Black Science Fiction Society has started working on our flagship publication: Genesis Science Fiction Magazine. The magazine will be available digitally and in magazine print form. The magazine will stay true to our goal to create, highlight, celebrate and develop black science fiction, speculative fiction, fantasy & horror.
SUBMISSIONS
Black Science Fiction Society is now having open submissions for your short stories, books, comics, art, videos, etc. Since this is a grass roots effort we do not have funds to pay contributors. All funds generated from magazine sales are used to help finance the goals outlined in our manifesto which is our blueprint for gaining a positive footing for our science fiction creations.
-All authors receive complementary advertisements in the magazine
-Contributors keep competing ownership and rights to their submissions.
-Identification should include the designer’s name, mailing address, email address, and telephone number. This should also include the name and address of the institution, as well as the affiliation of the designer (company, student, alumni, etc).
-All entries will be acknowledged upon receipt. (If you do not receive a reply, your submission was not received)
- Stories should be between 3,000 to 5,000 words
- Send me your best, WELL-EDITED, PROOFREAD, SPELL-CHECKED work
-No child abuse, porn, bestiality, sexist, etc.

Entries should be submitted in electronic format. We are looking for graphics that present well in both print and electronic media.
-Designer identification should be included with the entry but should not be on the entry.
