To gift readers a taste of my sci-fi goodness, I will allow my AFRO Sci-Fi Anthology to remain FREE on Amazon in honor of 2017 Juneteenth, also known as Juneteenth Independence Day or Freedom Day -- a holiday that commemorates the June 19, 1865, announcement of the emancipation of slaves throughout the Confederate South.

I would like to encourage other Black Sci-Fi authors to offer a limited amount of their works for FREE (i.e., a free comic book day). One day a year, we should give it up for no charge.  And, encourage readers to engage in Afro Speculative Fiction published by the many authors who support this site.

After Juneteenth,  our prices can return to normal because writers got to eat to create. But we want to show readers deep appreciation for their support. In return, reader reviews on Amazon are always welcome.  Or, they could pass the book along to a friend, reading group or public library (you can donate print and e-books).

It's a family affair. Touch me at: http://www.sbattle.com
