What the genre?? The beginning was fast, Pulp Fiction style.

I have just recently received my free copy, and while reading I was instantly caught up into Siren's world. Although I have not completed the ebook, however in regards to Miss Cage's novel such books needs not to be in a hurry to read all because I like to read, and savor in my mind every sentence, and paragraph as well as the characters, plots, and points of views. It is also the way I read my cherished Octavia Butler's books--every so often I will read the esteemed sci-fi writer of her day, now Miss Jessica Cage's book Siren will be noted by me as well as one of my favorite ebooks to grace my e-book library. All the best Miss Cage, us African-American writers has come along way from the writings on the walls of ancient Egypt's tombs all the way to stories handed down from our African ancestors. May the Holder, and Creator of the Heavens continues to bless you. Peace, and blessings.

The Genre is Fantasy and Paranormal. There are some mythological undertones as she is a Siren.  I wanted to start it off with a  bang.

Every now and then, you (I) start to doubt, if I am on the right track. Am I making the impact I seek out to? Then the universe sends you a reminder that if you stay true to who you are and put all that you can into your work, you can never go wrong. To be mentioned in the same note as Octavia Butler is an amazing thing. Thank you so much for being my reminder today that I am on the right path. Writing brings me happiness and I just want to be able to share that with others.

Problem is, he suspects Melera, his sexy new flame, might be the serial killer terrorizing Seattle. Or maybe she isn’t.
