My first book: Yesterday's Journey. Not knowing anything about writing, editing, publishing and agency. All I had was determination, trust and memory of my pass life.
I wrote a story of my life. I begin to look for a publisher. I selected a publishing co. that took me for a ride. They took my money and my book. They inform me the book will be in book stores. I found the book on Amazon . com.
The book never sold in the U.S.A. it sold in UK. I did not reap any money from the sales. I call the publishing Co. they refuse to talk with me and did not return my calls. But I yet trusted in God; He gave me a mind to write the book over and change the title and ISBN
A change came into my life. I wrote the book over.It took a year to finish I had help from my daughter, she design the book cover. A friend edit for me.In the year of 2009 I self publish A Choice In Life. I set up a website for book sales. It have not move fast, but it have move on God's on time.
First book signing came from my church. No large turn out, but I was not forgotten. I thank God for the love that was shown toward me. I had a book signing in Dallas, Texas I received a lots of love and met some beautiful peoples.
God sent me to Arkansas In April 2010, where I was born. It was a lady I once wash and iron for her and baby sit .I looked up her daughter's address and found her. She ran a furniture store. I asked her if I could have a book signing at her store?" she said yes; just send some write-up's about your book. when the date came for my book signing, and I enter the city, my picture was in the paper with a write- up.
