Black Panther is less than a month away and with it. I feel will come a wave of opportunity for black creators. Will anyone be releasing anything during the month of February to capitalize on the attention that will come to our community after this movie comes out?

I'm working on my second issue that I want to have ready by Onyxcon sankofa which is the weekend of Black Panther opening weekend.  There is work out there already it's not really to me about capitalizing just be prepared for what comes our way.

I think we will have some new posters that we will release at the events we attend this year.

I think we'll be seeing a spike on Google/Bing for Black Science Fiction searches after the wide release. I should have my next book published soon. I hope other member authors are ready as well.

RX J1131-1231 is about 6 billion light-years away. It is a lensed quasar; gravitational lensing caused by an intervening elliptical galaxy (center, yellow) has magnified and multiplied the image of RX J1131 into four images (pink) as seen with the Chandra X-ray Observatory. SKYCITY TALKRADIO

THE UNDERGROUND BY ROXANNE BLAND

Life as alpha of a werewolf pack is anything but predictable. But even Parker Berenson is surprised by the latest twist: he’s fallen in love with a space alien. Problem is, he suspects Melera, his sexy new flame, might be the serial killer terrorizing Seattle. Or maybe she isn’t. After all, just because she’s an interstellar assassin doesn’t mean she’s guilty.
