Greetings, all.
Like many black speculative fiction authors, I've been fascinated with the concept of the Third Eye from my research gathered to flesh out my Second Sight Graphix universe. I use the concept to represent the highest level of mental, emotional, intellectual, spiritual achievement by a human being.
My research has taken me all around the world culturally, and has revealed some surprising insights. One of the things I've noticed is that of all my fellow creators who also use the concept, no one focuses on the same aspects or even use the Third Eye the same way in their fiction. This is also fascinating, and often will inspire even more insights in my own usage and open wonderful new pathways in my continued research.
I would like to share some of the things I've found and encourage you to add to the pot with your own research into a concept that I believe can truly have no end.
