Hi, folks,

I'm currently developing a science fiction series for broadcast and am in need of writers to participate at a table of between 3-7 writers that will work from a story outline to create a multipart broadcast series.

There is an immediate opportunity to raise a significant amount of money for further development of the series. I intend to produce a scene/episode as part of the application process which is first quarter 2015.

I am a long time professional in the film and television business, having produced, distributed, marketed and sold audio-visual products over the last 20+ years. I have superior production capacity, and ability to monetize the work that will be done over the next few weeks.

Reach out to me at marlinesq@gmail.com.

Thanks,

Marlin L. Adams, founding member of KJM3 Entertainment Group, a film distribution company disseminating "Images and Stories from The African Diaspora"

Do you have a website?

Hi,

you can go to facebook and pull up "Transhumanism in Hampton Roads" and see the page, "Next It Premise". If you're interested in being part of a professional grade effort at greatness "-"/ let me know, the train is moving. You can also check out another related venture, CulturalGrassroots.com, a crowdfunding proposition looking for us.

I do know plenty of SF writers who've worked on Star Trek, Flash Forward, Outer Limits and others. I could pass this on to them if you'd like.

Indie SAG/AFTRA WGA?

Indie .... immediately, I am organizing for pilot submission, money if successful.

There are a number of folks who ACTUALLY ARE SCIENTISTS who might be interested in participating. Have you a means of contacting these folks? After all,  since this is science fiction. Where to look?  The staff at Science, Scientific American, Nature or any of about 1,000 other science magazines.  Who am to make such a suggestion? A science fiction writer ( see the book  Twin Stars and Pure Magic) who is a real scientist  ( How is this? degree in Biology, UCSB, retired Dentist, UCSF)  I like to see the scientists get more  involved.

Well, Sir,

let's start with you!

you can go to facebook and pull up "Transhumanism in Hampton Roads" and see the page, "Next It Premise". If you're interested in being part of a professional grade effort at greatness "-"/ email me and we will get on the phone to talk further.

Ok, thanks,

MA

I have a Star Trek DS9 sale under my belt and I am very interested in your project, but I am not on Facebook. How can I get in touch with you?

That's nice, but being a scientist does not mean you can write a teleplay. That was the problem Roddenbury had when he created the Original Series. That was why Arthur C.Clark never wrote an episode, even though he was one of Gene's best friends, he couldn't get the format down.

A new uncertainty principle holds that quantum objects can be at two temperatures at once, which is similar to the famous Schrödinger's cat thought experiment, in which a cat in a box with a radioactive element can be both alive and dead. Credit: Shutterstock

When the researchers turn an external magnetic field in different directions (indicated with arrows), they change the orientation of the linear electron flow above the kagome (six-fold) magnet, as seen in these electron wave interference patterns on the surface of a topological quantum kagome magnet. Each pattern is created by a particular direction of the external magnetic field applied on the sample.

Republicans: Founded in 1854 by anti-slavery expansion activists and modernizers, the Republican Party quickly surpassed the Whig Party as the principal opposition to the Democratic Party. In 1860, it came to power with the election of Abraham Lincoln to the presidency. The party presided over the American Civil War and Reconstruction and was harried by internal factions and scandals toward the end of the 19th century. Today, the party supports a conservative platform (from an American political perspective), with further foundations in supply-side fiscal policies,…

At 2:30 a.m. EDT (0630 UTC) on Sept. 11, the MODIS instrument aboard NASA’s Aqua satellite looked at Hurricane Florence in infrared light. MODIS found coldest cloud top temperatures around the eye, as cold as or colder than minus 80 degrees (yellow) Fahrenheit (minus 112 degrees Celsius). Surrounding the eye were thick rings of powerful storms with cloud tops as cold as or colder than minus 70 degrees (red) Fahrenheit (minus 56.6 degrees Celsius). Credit: NASA/NRL…

THE UNDERGROUND BY ROXANNE BLAND

Life as alpha of a werewolf pack is anything but predictable. But even Parker Berenson is surprised by the latest twist: he’s fallen in love with a space alien. Problem is, he suspects Melera, his sexy new flame, might be the serial killer terrorizing Seattle. Or maybe she isn’t. After all, just because she’s an interstellar assassin doesn’t mean she’s guilty.
