Here is a quote left on a blog by an anonymous writer: "White people buy more comics than blacks. Comics with white characters sell better than comics with black characters. And there are more real life white heroes than blacks. It should be a pure financial decision for Marvel to sell more comics featuring white Americans and for white Americans. Diversity is a failed concept."  I say it

Waddup yall. Festive Greetingz to all of BSFS.

Been working on two stories and am looking for artists to add images to each episode. The first is this scifi about a young mixed brotha who finds out that he is an avatar or angel if you would. He then is lead to take on the roll of saving NYC from vampires. I have 4 episodes out. They are about 6-9 thousand words. Not a bad build up. This story is called McGovern's Circle. I left off at the 4th episode and plan to encorporate the story into my second blog called Fredrick's Place. It's about a man who finds himself so comfortable in life that he begins to dable in negative things but then is saved by his curiosity in the dark arts. I have not released any episodes and am working on it slowly. Would love to have artists for both. Wouldn't mind having many aritsts.

ARTIST NEEDED FOR PROJECT

I have an author looking for an illustrator for a poem that she wants to turn into a book. I must admit that I don't know what kind of budget she is working with, but I thought I'd reach out to you to see if you knew anyone that might be able to help her out.

http://www.masnohwilson.com/2011/08/weve-touched-world.html is the poem that she wants to turn into a children's book.

Let me know if you have any ideas that I can pass along to her.

Thanks,

The U.S. Coast Guard lieutenant spent hours on end planning a wide-scale domestic terrorist attack, even logging in at his work computer on the job at headquarters to study the manifestos and heinous paths of mass shooters, prosecutors say. He researched how to carry out sniper attacks, they contend, and whether rifle scopes were illegal. And all the while, investigators assert, he was amassing a cache of weapons as he ruminated about attacks on politicians and journalists.

But Christopher P. Hasson was not an isolated figure, according to a contractor who worked with him. The 49-year-old…

THE UNDERGROUND BY ROXANNE BLAND

Life as alpha of a werewolf pack is anything but predictable. But even Parker Berenson is surprised by the latest twist: he’s fallen in love with a space alien. Problem is, he suspects Melera, his sexy new flame, might be the serial killer terrorizing Seattle. Or maybe she isn’t. After all, just because she’s an interstellar assassin doesn’t mean she’s guilty.
