These are two promo images. One from the '90s the other recent.  Both me with drawings I did for clients.  Bowie was for PLAYBOY's OUI MAGAZINE, The other MODE AVANTE GARDE and the Limelight Entertainment Chain. I just wanted to show that it is possible to draw for paying clients as a log term career option.

Drawing is fundamental.

Provide a variety of drawing experiences to all ages and stages, I do still! Since the early 1970s.

I teach drawing to all ages and stages. In the very young it has the added benefit of enhancing cognitive skills and imagination.

I look forward to teaching my Intro To Studio Drawing Class this Summer at the Harold Washington College in downtown Chicago. We are around the corner from Trump Tower.

In the effort to pass on skills and concepts that may open levels of self worth, appreciation and the foundation to a career in the visual arts I teach Intro to Studio  Drawing in downtown Chicago at the Harold Washington College.  For the pass ten years this workshop styled class has been my think tank for drawing. Pencil and Charcoal. Appreciation not negatives.  No critiques.

He sat at his desk, woozy. He tried to move, his arms unresponsive. He searched for help, moving into the aisle in his swivel chair only to find all his coworkers had abandoned him. Was he being drugged? If so, it was the simplest scene he could imagine.Whoever was trying this was extremely stupid or extremely powerful. He'd find out soon enough.

SKYCITY TALKRADIO

THE UNDERGROUND BY ROXANNE BLAND

Life as alpha of a werewolf pack is anything but predictable. But even Parker Berenson is surprised by the latest twist: he’s fallen in love with a space alien. Problem is, he suspects Melera, his sexy new flame, might be the serial killer terrorizing Seattle. Or maybe she isn’t. After all, just because she’s an interstellar assassin doesn’t mean she’s guilty.
