Most folks here tend to be brand loyal in terms of the mainstream and will not invest or appreciate the real efforts and quality of indie products.

So we need the few who do understand to stand up and shout!:Indie today: Black Age forever!!!!" The rest can continue to be slaves to the mainstream instead of players in our own dreams.

A quality collection of Black Age material should have a variety of indie products in cluded. Such as the first copies of NOG 1981, Brother Man 1991, Funture FUnk 1982, Inner City 1992, The Mighty Ace 1993, and Hip Hop Heaven 1992.  Of course your faves should be there too.  But these are the titles from folks who laid the foundation to the growing indie Black Age of Comics movement.  History will come around.  These creators will be valued in high esteem and those items will become more precious along the way.  What's in your collection?

Why are most music collections Blacker than most collections of games, comic books and graphic novels?

We have come so far by faith

Posted by Ms. Regina Owens on February 20, 2018 at 6:24pm 0 Comments

Let us not forget those who have gone before us, who have fought the good fight with faith, and courage. Black History Month is due in remembrance of them all, and us today must not allow those torches of courage to ever go out. Kudos to the Black Panther movie, now a superhero movie for us--not one of a "pale like," one that bolts out of a phone booth wearing a flying like red and blue cape. Blessings to you all!

SKYCITY TALKRADIO

THE UNDERGROUND BY ROXANNE BLAND

Life as alpha of a werewolf pack is anything but predictable. But even Parker Berenson is surprised by the latest twist: he’s fallen in love with a space alien. Problem is, he suspects Melera, his sexy new flame, might be the serial killer terrorizing Seattle. Or maybe she isn’t. After all, just because she’s an interstellar assassin doesn’t mean she’s guilty.
