I've been 'turning and burning' on my upcoming projects and have stepped back some to allow other members of the SPC to spotlight their projects and drop info. I noticed things have gotten quiet so I'm going to try and 'rattle the tree' and see what falls out. Let us know what you're working on. You may find there are others in the Coalition who are working on the same line or may be of assistance to you. Remember, the Coalition is not intended to be just a place to get info but also to link up with your fellow content creators and those who support the endeavor with related services. We are chest deep with know-how, experience and talent here. To not take advantage of it is downright criminal.

I'm working on "Immortal IV" and a novella sequel to "The Switch."
Congrats on both of your projects! I'm working on a collection of short spec fiction stories. I found a graphic artist but still researching printers. I'm also thinking about going the ebook route.
Right now I'm cleaning up a draft of a young adult novel for my agent, promoting my currently available work (check me out at www.lrgiles.com), and I'm getting ready to attend the GO ON GIRL Book Club's Annual Awards Weekend (more info here: http://www.goongirl.org/awards/awards-weekend/2011/index.php) where I've been invited as a featured author. My book LIVE AGAIN was chosen as their July Sci-Fi/Fantasy read. So, just staying busy...always something to do. :)

Looks like you folks are keeping busy! Congrats for those of you who have recently published or are about to. For those of you prepping your final product, I definitely feel your pain as I'm hustling to get both artwork done and finish final rewrites of my latest novel and my online short-stories. Hang in there and get'em done!

Looking forward to seeing those Admin. What are the expected release dates?

Hi Everyone:

I'm preparing a presentation on the influence of Islam and Muslims in science fiction, fantasy, and comic literature to an audience in Seoul, South Korea, Sogang University's American Culture Lecture Series. I have a recently published book chapter for the 2 volume series Muslims and American Popular Culture by Iraj Omidvar and Anne R. Richards published by ABC-CLIO’s Praeger Imprint.  My co-author, Joyce Thornton and my chapter is in volume 1 titled “The Influence of Muslims and Islam in Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Comics.” Here is a link to the series:http://www.abc-clio.com/product.aspx?isbn=9780313379628

I will also meet with a group of graduate students where we will discuss the late author and law professor Derrick Bell's short story Space Traders. I have sent them a link to the Youtube video on HBO's short lived mini-series Cosmic Slop, hosted by George Clinton. Here's a link to the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AkDVwTWloDU

Any advice or suggestions are welcome.

Hi, all...

and on Twitter: @DarkMattersProj.

Would love for you all to connect with us!

Peace & Blessings co-creators I've been churning the mind for imaginative characters and stories that reflect an African world view.  It's been a lot of fun creating these worlds in the form of short stories. Spirit has moved me   write a couple animation scripts titled" The Shaman and the scientist" and Wall warriors and talking drums, that are currently registered and  with the Writer's guild of America West  that I have  on the back burner...unsure how to proceed with them considering I'm a sci-fi author wading around in new waters. Does anyone have any suggestions I'd appreciate it thanks

Just finished my first sci-fi novel, Mind of Goddess, last week. Trying to decide whether to self-publish or go to a book publisher.

Finishing the last bit of code on the Kaizen text analysis app (www.moorsgatemedia.blogspot.com. also trying to fix IE 7 and below issues).  Next up, some simple HTML5 games for inclusion into a larger reader project.

Almost forgot! I'm also in the process of editing a crime/thriller novel and hoping a former client finishes his vampire novel sooner rather than later - i'm chomping at the bit to work on it.

Life as alpha of a werewolf pack is anything but predictable. But even Parker Berenson is surprised by the latest twist: he’s fallen in love with a space alien. Problem is, he suspects Melera, his sexy new flame, might be the serial killer terrorizing Seattle. Or maybe she isn’t. After all, just because she’s an interstellar assassin doesn’t mean she’s guilty.
