"NOG" was first published in graphic novel form in 1981 by ONLI STUDIOS. It is the book and character that opened the door to the growing Black Age of Comics Movement. The look was eve loved from art created by Onli during the Black Cultural revolution of the late '60s and early '70s. The story mytholizes a galactic Nubian world view as Planet NUBA is under attack. This is the most collectable product from "The Father of the Black Age".
Onli named his signature style as being future=primitif under the term of Rhythmism. THis predates the emergence of the term "Afrofuturism'. Innovative. Exciting. Intelligent. Compelling. NOG is here and the War is coming!
We use the French spelling of "Pyramides" in homage to the late great artist Moebius, who asked Onli why he was in Paris trying to make money, and Onli's time spent researching and working in Paris as an illustrator.
