"The Priestess" by H. Wolfgang Porter

Born of the Sword and Soul Challenge: 'Stop This!' comes the adult/fantasy online series which is a blend of African and other far-flung cultures. Beautiful, powerful and in possession of ageless wisdom, the Priestess along with her husband the deadly Valley Knight stand as guardians over the Great Valley created by ancient warring elemental powers.

As a goddess living among mortals, the Priestess maintains the balance between mortals and gods as they pass through or take up residence within the Valley and the surrounding desert region. Come sit beneath the cooling shade of palm and cypress trees but be careful. The next passerby may be a man, demon or god!

The Red Spirit broods deep within an extinct volcano as she licks her wounds after being thwarted by a new enemy. An enemy which has proven resourceful and capable of wounding even her, a semi-divine being! Brooding will not be enough to make her plans to conquer the Nation of Palm and all the surrounding kingdoms. It will take clear focus to stick with her plans though the prospect of an individual mortal or god capable of killing her is a sobering development.

A surprise visit by an uninvited guest, has the potential to bring everything back into focus for the Red Spirit and potentially give her greater means to accomplish her 'ultimate goal'. Or will her guest bring ill tidings for the coming attack on Sea City? All will be revealed in, 'The Priestess: Stones, Conflict and Legacy' Part 3!

Palm's Champion N'Sisi's unsanctioned reconnaisance mission bears bitter fruit as she reveals what the Tennaree have been up to on their march towards Sea City! It will fall upon the Valley Knight to keep Palm's remaining high command from panicking in the face of such grim news. With the power of Little Fish, the Witch Mjarga and his comrade-in-arms Chief Svengald, the Valley Knight may well have the means to keep things together! Meanwhile, an unsettling development occurs that casts a shadow that should not be present. Will the Valley Knight and his allies catch it in time? All will be revealed in 'The Priestess: Stones, Conflict and Legacy', Part 2!

The Priestess Second Saga returns as the fledgling army organized by the Valley Knight prepares for the Tenaree attack on Sea City, the Prince of the Island Nations arrives with his fleet and to claim the hand of Princess Meru. Can the Valley Knight keep his word to his 'new' love that she will never lay eyes on the Prince and in doing so, still maintain the alliance between two countries with war imminent? Amid all the preparations the Aesir Witch Mjarga has a vision that will challenge even the Valley Knight's ability to motivate the remaining forces of Palm to stand fast and fight! The Red Spirit now revealed as a merciless Fire Goddess has licked her wounds from the unexpected challenge from the defenders of Palm. Her path to victory presents itself with a traitor and the powerful new weapons she's given the Tenaree horde at her command. The Priestess' life hangs in the balance as these forces move towards their climactic conflict. It will take the Valley Knight, his Godling son Little Fish along with the people of Palm and their new Aesir allies to stand firm against the coming tide. But can they when faced with such an implacable enemy? All will be revealed in 'The Priestess: Stones, Conflict and Legacy'

The Valley Knight and his raiding party strike out to reconnoiter the Tenaree invader's position in the hopes of learning their secret plans. Meanwhile, Chief Svengald gets reacquainted with his wife and people in the telling of his adventures. The seeds of jealousy want to take root in the Chief's Wife's mind as she contemplates how their lives turned out all these years apart. Both the Valley Knight and Chief Svengald will receive 'visitors' in the night, neither welcome! Are the Tenaree closer than anyone thinks? Will the Knight's raiders find the Aesir survivors before something terrible happens? All these questions and more will be revealed in the conclusion of 'The Priestess: Stones, Love and Betrayal!'

The Priestess Second Saga continues as The Valley Knight finds himself getting pulled into the political intrigues of the new Palm Nation government. The wranglings of courtiers and politicians threaten the readiness of the reformed army and the Knight must do what he can to keep the ruler's focus on the Tenaree invasion.

Meanwhile, Chief Svengald and the Aesir survivors finally come ashore and reunite with Little Fish and the young version of Mjarga the Witch! Now reunited with his wife, Svengald has a lot of explaining to do to his long suffering and courageous spouse! But will the 'unbelievable truth' of his adventures in the Valley Realm be accepted by the 'Chief's Vife'? These questions and many more will be revealed in 'The Priestess: Stones, Love and Betrayal' Part 3!

War has come to peaceful and prosperous Palm City. With a shattered treaty, the warriors of the desert pour into the city like a sandstorm! The attack is so swift, Palm City quickly falls and for all anyone knows, the King and the Royal Family are dead. It is up to the nation's champion to guide the last surviving member of the government and his only daughter to safety. But can even the might of the Warrioress N'Sisi hold fast against a numerous and relentless enemy? Will her prayers to the 'Goddess of War' for strength in this crisis be answered? Can she rally what remains of her people to both survive and take revenge? All will be revealed in the weeklong Second Saga event, 'The Priestess: Stones, War and Love!'

The Priestess Second Saga Returns Monday August 29th as The Valley Knight begins his quest to thwart an army of desert warriors descending upon the Valley Real. Their target is the Priestess herself! As this is a mortal threat, the goddess within the Priestess cannot interfere even with all her vast power. With the help of Little Fish, the Knight has reached the place where the great host has gathered as they begin their genocidal war. But what can one man do against an army? Without Little Fish's power and the stalwart sword arm of the Aesir Chief Svengald, somehow the Valley Knight must move an entire nation to war to prevent the destruction of his wife the Priestess and all he holds dear. One man alone or not, whomever stands in the path of one who is beloved by a goddess-made-woman and Death itself best be prepared for a man who will stop at nothing to protect that which he loves! Read the week long event, 'The Priestess: Stones, Love and War'....

'The Priestess: Stone, Sea and Serpent' has concluded, but the 'Second Saga' continues as the fate of the Valley Knight is chronicled. Will the man beloved by the Priestess and the entity 'Death' be able to stop the great army coming to destroy everything he has come to know and love? Can even the warrior who's name has become synonymous with 'Death' fight back an entire army? All will be revealed in the next installment of 'The Priestess: The Second Saga'!

Can the embattled crew of shield maidens survive both the elemental tempest and the creature of legend destined to destroy the gods? future dwelling technology

OK, my latest thinking. The quonset has dormers on each side which is connected to stacked shipping containers. The sea-cons can be porches or room expansion. The quonset ends are flat so you can attach dome-like extensions. I used an octagonal shaped dome in keeping with standard 90 degree building technology. And yes, you don't have to use shipping containers, but they are ready-made steel frames. And you could just as well dock your tiny house on the side of the quonset.

Someone asked me what kind of people would live in my dwellings. I am a bungalow person, smallish but bigger than a tiny house. How to live in a smallish house is living in your mind instead of living by your body. The body requires space and stuff, both of which can be costly. But you can do whatever you imagine,…

SKYCITY TALKRADIO

THE UNDERGROUND BY ROXANNE BLAND

Life as alpha of a werewolf pack is anything but predictable. But even Parker Berenson is surprised by the latest twist: he’s fallen in love with a space alien. Problem is, he suspects Melera, his sexy new flame, might be the serial killer terrorizing Seattle. Or maybe she isn’t. After all, just because she’s an interstellar assassin doesn’t mean she’s guilty.
