"The Priestess" by H. Wolfgang Porter

Born of the Sword and Soul Challenge: 'Stop This!' comes the adult/fantasy online series which is a blend of African and other far-flung cultures. Beautiful, powerful and in possession of ageless wisdom, the Priestess along with her husband the deadly Valley Knight stand as guardians over the Great Valley created by ancient warring elemental powers.

As a goddess living among mortals, the Priestess maintains the balance between mortals and gods as they pass through or take up residence within the Valley and the surrounding desert region. Come sit beneath the cooling shade of palm and cypress trees but be careful. The next passerby may be a man, demon or god!

The 'Second Saga' continues in March as the whereabouts of Little Fish is revealed. Despite his growing control over the mighty 'Fishscale necklace', the young man after ignoring the Priestess' warnings foolishly left the Valley Realm through a 'world portal'. Now hopelessly lost and unable to properly open the way home, Little Fish is trapped in a hostile and primitive land! Tormented by an old foe, his struggle to escape is further confounded. But little does the young man know, an ancient power has been awakened and it will fall to him to deter its wrath! Will the youth with near 'godlike' power be able to contain a power far older than he and make his escape home? All will be revealed in 'The Priestess: By the Light of Stones"!

The 'Die is cast'! The Valley Knight and Chief Svengald depart on their quests, but behind their coming labors is the treacherous God Qatula! How does the Priestess' oldest and most powerful husband factor into the coming troubles facing the Valley Realm? Can even the mighty Priestess thwart the trickster's treacherous travails? All will be revealed in the conclusion of 'The Priestess: An Invitation Accepted"!

Chief Svengald and The Valley Knight prepare to go their separate ways as their journeys beyond the Valley Realm loom large. But before they can sojourn forth, 'goodbye's must be said. The Valley Knight's will be far more difficult as he must keep his quest secret from the 'all knowing' Priestess! How does a man keep an important secret from a wife who actually 'knows everything?' All will be revealed in part 4 of 'The Priestess: An Invitation Accepted"!

Out on the abundant and treacherous landscape of the Delta Boundary, the Goddess Okavanga now makes her home. Given the duty to protect this jewel of the Valley Realm by the Priestess, the 'young' goddess soon finds that being 'given' a queendom doesn't mean you get to keep it...without a fight! Okavanga soon finds the ancient residents of the Delta do not find her presence a welcome one. Can the former Sea Goddess confirm her claim of rulership over the Delta Boundary? All will be revealed in part 3 of 'The Priestess: An Invitation Accepted'!

The Valley Knight, husband and protector of the Priestess gets a visit from an unwelcome guest. A guest who brings ill-tidings that threaten war! But not just a war for simple territory or conquest. There is an enemy who threatens the Priestess herself! Can the word of this messenger be trusted? Can the Valley Knight afford to allow so dangerous a possible threat go unchallenged? All will be revealed in part two of, 'The Priestess: An Invitation Accepted"!

Season 4 of the Priestess begins as a vision of things to come disturbs the Priestess. Once more the tiny threads of fate are weaving together to form a tapestry that will cover all who live and prosper in the Valley Realm! The time has come once more when those who journeyed forth to save the Valley must gather their wits and weapons to do so again. However, with Little Fish missing, how will the brave warriors of the Valley travel to far off realms? The 'Second Saga' begins in part one of 'The Priestess: An Invitation Accepted"!

At long last, 'The Priestess' returns! A new Saga begins as the whereabouts of Little Fish is revealed. The young man with the tremendous power growing within him must find his way back home to the Valley Realm. But before he can do so, he must face down a long dormant power brought back into the world of Chief Svengald's ancestors. If the Chief's people are wiped out, will all of history be undone? Find out Monday February, 15th as Season 4 of 'The Priestess' begins!

Mid-November, the Priestess returns and though all seems well as the fall harvest begins in the Valley Realm, forces beyond the tranquil land threaten the life of she who has made the land what it is! Little Fish now a young man is still missing somewhere in time and a massive army is forming which will attack the Priestess' home and take her life!

Not even the mighty Goddess within can raise a hand against the coming force, but one man can and will...the Valley Knight! As the Priestess' mortal husband and sworn protector, the Valley Knight prepares to go forth to stem the tide of an army to save his Goddess-Wife. However, he will not have his stalwart companion the Aesir Chieftain with him on so perilous and potentially hopeless a labor for the Chief must venture forth to save his people once again!

Can even the mighty Valley Knight stop an entire army alone in order to fulfill his oath to protect the Priestess from all 'Mortal Threats' or will he need to call upon darker powers to aid him in the coming conflict?

All the intrigue, romance and bloody conflict will be revealed in Season 4 of 'The Priestess'!
