TEASE

D-Shroud, a criminal kingpin, has dreams of growing his empire. By selling three suitcase nuclear weapons to buyers that have no compunctions about using them, he believes he can secure his vision. Tease, his number one assassin, is beautiful and deadly. When a mysterious Washington attorney named Shaw asks too many questions about D-Shroud, Tease is ordered to put an end to Shaw’s life.

Shaw is blamed for a crime he didn’t commit. Pursued by police and being tracked by an insane killer, his problems become even more complicated by an undeniable heat rising between him and Tease. With tens of thousands of lives at stake, will Shaw’s passion for Tease take precedence over his sense of duty?

It was a pleasure. I'm sorry it took so long. I had read those books earlier and now am on the the third book from Valjeanne Jeffers. I'm also working on a new marketing campaign. I wanted to do a news letter and feature you as the spotlight author. But I haven't had the time to pull it together yet. If I do, would you mind me featuring you as the spotlight author. If you don't mind, shoot me an article about yourself or your work.

DK,

I'm on your second Joe Hooks book. This is #3 for me. I'm almost done. I haven't started the reviews yet. But let me tell you, "You are one talented author." Keep up the good writing. Like I told you, I downloaded all of your work from Amazon onto my Kindle. I will probably read all of your work before the end of Feb.

DK,

I see you are doing well. It's been awhile, but I did read The Friday House through my Kindle. Loved it so much I downloaded 4 of your other books. Keep it going. It was a refreshing read after spending a 3 months trying finishing reading a book that didn't work for me. With your permission, I would like to write a review.

Thanks

DK, I finished Darkest Hours and I enjoyed it. Great story, great plot. The characters were awesome. I liked Kool Aid and I really liked how you presented the mysterious Shaw. I'm still wondering who this cat is! LOL! Anyway I posted reviews in the Discussion section of this site and on Amazon. Check 'em out. Again, Bravo on a fine piece of work.

Was he being drugged? If so, it was the simplest scene he could imagine.Whoever was trying this was extremely stupid or extremely powerful. He'd find out soon enough.

CFP: Images of Blackness in Graphic Novels, Past and Future (Extension to 3/31/18)

by Brian Yates

This edited volume will offer an opportunity for authors to investigate the ways in which blackness is reimagined in both mainstream and independent comics. Specifically, I propose responding to the following questions: What are the ways in which heroism is redefined by black characters? How are black futures reimagined? What gendered arguments are made through this medium? What are the challenges in presenting to black audiences in this largely white genre? How do the creators depict the continent of Africa and/or communities in the African Diaspora? How are black bodies presented in graphic comics and novels? Finally, how are themes of social justice specific to black communities presented in this…

SKYCITY TALKRADIO

THE UNDERGROUND BY ROXANNE BLAND

Life as alpha of a werewolf pack is anything but predictable. But even Parker Berenson is surprised by the latest twist: he’s fallen in love with a space alien. Problem is, he suspects Melera, his sexy new flame, might be the serial killer terrorizing Seattle. Or maybe she isn’t. After all, just because she’s an interstellar assassin doesn’t mean she’s guilty.
