Profile Information

About Me:
I am a writer, focusing on science fiction and low fantasy stories. My first full-length novel, will be released in 2013 (I'm using NaNoWriMo as the vehicle to complete this one). However, I have a number of other complete and near-complete works, that I plan to publish later.

I've been known for original scores and songs for film and television projects, including MAY (Lions Gate), THE WOODS (MGM/UA), MASTERS OF HORROR (Showtime) and ROMAN (Echo Bridge). My soundtracks cover many genres from orchestral, electronic, jazz, rock, classic pop and more, and previous ones were performed under various project names, including Jaye Barnes Luckett, Poperratic, and Alien Tempo Experiment 13. I also do voice overs, and direct and animate music videos. I also write and record electronic music, under the name "Merkcurie." Merkcurie ranges in style, from 1960s-analogue styles to breakbeats, new wave, trip hop and drum'n'bass, and everything in between.

Currently (temporarily) based in Austin, TX, but will soon return to Los Angeles, where I previously lived and worked from 1993-2009. I am a native of Columbus, OH.

Thanks...if you want to see that and more I can email you.  Maybe you might have some ideas for sound.  I took Rogo Run down since the music I used was not mine.

SKYCITY TALKRADIO

THE UNDERGROUND BY ROXANNE BLAND

Problem is, he suspects Melera, his sexy new flame, might be the serial killer terrorizing Seattle. Or maybe she isn’t. After all, just because she’s an interstellar assassin doesn’t mean she’s guilty.
