V.B. James crafted her first novel at the age of twelve after convincing herself that she was having real physic dreams. She was one with many colorful dreams and felt that she was gifted them by God for a reason. Feeling compiled to share them with others, she was somehow never able to articulate the dreams as she truly saw them.
At this moment, V.B. decided to put pen to paper and create a literary canvas that displayed an array of colors through words. These words transport audiences alike through the depths of Vanessa’s mystifying mind that teases and toddles on the brink of an undefined “imaginarium” with every word read in her works, Casualty and Cameo.
Though V.B. will forever be a Texas girl, her heart lives in books and movies. If she’s not working on her latest novel or screenplay, you can find her reading, watching movies, or indulging in her unhealthy addiction to rockstars concerts.
Finding it hard to juggle her professional Recruiting career at a Fortune 100 company with her true passion, she decided to pursue her dream. No, not as a physic, but as a craftsman of words.
Enrolling in classes at SMU and Collin County Community College was a no-brainer, but attending film/screenwriting seminars hosted by industry leading writers, directors and producers around the country was career-defining and resulted in competing in competitions around the world including Hollywood. And now, as they say, “the rest is history.”
After V.B. nurtured her gift and published her work internationally, the literary community had this to say.
“New Book, Casualty thrillers its readers with an explosive jaw-dropping journey that will have you tilting your glasses over the edge of your nose.”
“You don’t want to miss this one!”
“Casualty moves at such an impressive pace. It really does feel like the reader is running with Logon! The twist at the end was wonderful. I didn't see it coming. I do hope there is a sequel in the mix.”
“Casualty is a must read for readers craving suspense, drama and heart pumping adventure. This story is like no other on the market.”

When the researchers turn an external magnetic field in different directions (indicated with arrows), they change the orientation of the linear electron flow above the kagome (six-fold) magnet, as seen in these electron wave interference patterns on the surface of a topological quantum kagome magnet. Each pattern is created by a particular direction of the external magnetic field applied on the sample.

Republicans: Founded in 1854 by anti-slavery expansion activists and modernizers, the Republican Party quickly surpassed the Whig Party as the principal opposition to the Democratic Party. In 1860, it came to power with the election of Abraham Lincoln to the presidency. The party presided over the American Civil War and Reconstruction and was harried by internal factions and scandals toward the end of the 19th century. Today, the party supports a conservative platform (from an American political perspective), with further foundations in supply-side fiscal policies,…

Surrounding the eye were thick rings of powerful storms with cloud tops as cold as or colder than minus 70 degrees (red) Fahrenheit (minus 56.6 degrees Celsius). Credit: NASA/NRL…

Life as alpha of a werewolf pack is anything but predictable. But even Parker Berenson is surprised by the latest twist: he’s fallen in love with a space alien. Problem is, he suspects Melera, his sexy new flame, might be the serial killer terrorizing Seattle. Or maybe she isn’t. After all, just because she’s an interstellar assassin doesn’t mean she’s guilty.
