"The reason they are popular every year is because people don't do them. So instead of promising myself I will do those I will resolve to: Pick a book project and finish it. I will work on some of those other items on the popular list too."

Profile Information

About Me:
I am a mixed media artist, illustrator, cartoonist, writer, and crafter.

I have a BFA from the School of Visual Arts and an MA from the University of Illinois at Springfield. I have a certificate in multimedia design from Sessions School of Design, and a certificate from the Coursera school in Comic Books and graphic novels.

I was born with albinism. I reflect that in some of my work. Many of us are mistaken for mixed race but as one of my colleagues stated, “Ain’t no White up in here.”

I make art because I have a story to tell. For me it’s all about story and message. That story can be written, danced, voiced or put on canvas. We are artists. We have been given these sacred gifts. They are to be used. We have been given stories. They are to be told.

My interests are: fantasy, Goddess and spirit, body difference, albinism in the pan African community, and Native American and Earth wisdom.

I currently run two websites of my own and maintain one for a professional writer’s group. I have worked on graphic design and illustration commissions, but I find clients hard to deal with. I prefer to worn on my own projects.

Okay; this is a rant, and will probably be my only, or one of very few blogs. That's because I have other venues for writing.

Anyway: Here is something that has caused me consternation for a very long time. Albinos in the media have always been seen as other than human. We have been given red demonic eyes, stark white unruly hair and skin that resembles a corpse or a powdered doughnut.

In fact, we have been portrayed as vampires, aliens, an even underground…

In a post apocalyptic world, Two investigators (James and Brooks) are assign to a murder investigation that leads to more questions than what they bargain for.

Life as alpha of a werewolf pack is anything but predictable. But even Parker Berenson is surprised by the latest twist: he’s fallen in love with a space alien. Problem is, he suspects Melera, his sexy new flame, might be the serial killer terrorizing Seattle. Or maybe she isn’t.
