My described as "creepy" tale "The Science Fiction Story as Life Metaphor" now free on Kindle

This is a story I wrote a long time ago that I updated and uploaded to the Kindle platform being that I heard that this is the way to wealth, fame and riches. It's being offered for free on the Kindle. I definitely like the new cover. Has some slightly disturbing content. …

Updates

I keep forgetting that I have a blog page on here!

I just joined the board of the Carl Brandon Society, so I'm excited about working with the organization that gave me so much in 2012.

Recently I was told that my short story "Throb" will be included in the new groundbreaking speculative fiction anthology "Longhidden". It comes out in 2014.

Also, my short story "Throwback" is in the new Genesis 2 Anthology. (Support!)

One of the…

And On The Eighth Day...

It is well known by those of the Christian Faith that the Lord God created the Earth, the Heavens and their Multitudes in six days...and He rested on the seventh day.

But what I'm interested in is what happens on the Eighth Day...after Creation has been lived in awhile...after the end of the Millennium and Satan is once more allowed to run free...after the Four Horsemen have mounted their steeds...after the spawn of Hell rises up from the Dark Realms and invades the Realms of…

Review of Jimmy Pudge's The Booty Goblin

There's a new little monster everyone should be afraid of. The Booty Goblin is a little demon that has the strangest means of killing his victims. Augustus Freeman AKA Icon Gets His Own Film starring...

Posted by Joe Pledger on October 8, 2018 at 2:20am 0 Comments

DC's answer to the film 'Black Panther' should be 'Icon'!  Starring Denzel Washington as Augustus Freeman and either Zendaya or Amandla Stenberg as Rocket,  'Icon' is the story of how an alien crash lands in a cotton field in 1839 and adopts the appearance of the first person that comes into contact with it being a slave woman.  He lives through American history leaving behind a legacy as his next begotten's namesake arriving in the present day as August Freeman IV.  Convinced of his otherworldly abilities to better his race by a teenager name Rocket,  Augustus Freeman becomes the superhero 'Icon'.

SKYCITY TALKRADIO

THE UNDERGROUND BY ROXANNE BLAND

Life as alpha of a werewolf pack is anything but predictable. But even Parker Berenson is surprised by the latest twist: he’s fallen in love with a space alien. Problem is, he suspects Melera, his sexy new flame, might be the serial killer terrorizing Seattle. Or maybe she isn’t. After all, just because she’s an interstellar assassin doesn’t mean she’s guilty.
