who is your inspiration?

I don't read much. My wife's brother had a very old sci-fi collection book. I can't remember who the author of this story was. A Mars mission ended with the crew stranded. They camped outside a Martian ruin. While they waited for the rescue, the ruins became interesting and inviting. They found the ruins livable with what appeared to be homes and swimming pools. They broke camp, moved into the ruins. Over time, their blue eyes changed to almond and their skin mellowed to tan. With each day they melted into the old city. When the rescue crew finally arrived, all they found was the abandoned camp..... and the ruins that look so inviting.

I became a picture guy, love architecture and interior design, industrial design. The man is Syd Mead. Almost all of the major sci-fi movies I loved had elements designed by Syd Mead. I think he pioneered the doable future.

I also look at black abstract artist, if I can find them........like Sam Gilliam.
