Thanks for your comment, Brian.  Yes, I'm busted.  Thinking Yaphet Koto is my have black sf character.  But I really can't  think of any characters I like better who are clearly 'black' (and 3-dimensional). Certainly not anybody on Star Trek

Hi Brian!  Thanks for the offer of review copies but I am not reviewing right now.  I should update my profile I guess.  The toddler leaves me with no time!  Best of luck!

You'd be surprised how many gov't employees are also writers. James Pasch works for the same agency (different division) as I did. He has a trilogy out "The Dying Breed". Linda Watts wrote a detective novel, don't know if it's published yet.

I was a writer first though. Worked for a graphic design/publisher in San Francisco for 10 years but then the book business tanked. So I got a gov't job and put 15 in there before retiring. I still have to work, but I get enough to pay my health insurance, the rent, kid's insurance, and a couple of other bills.

Nice to meet you and thank you for friending me!

Nice to meet you as well Bassagirl! I'm diggin your comic book...or shall I say "fine art". It is truly magnificent and proves that the comic book medium can be used with great success outside of the realm of superheroes. Do ur thang!

The revelation of the existence of an advanced civilization of black people would shake the Western World to its very foundation! I can't wait to see how you explore that issue in Spear!

Brian, I just ordered a two pack! Lucius Hammer and Harlem Shadow. I am so excited about those characters and the world you've created around them. I can't wait to receive both issues. I'm also awaiting, with the most eager of anticipation, Spear. I would be very much interested in how you present this answer to the Black Panther. Can you provide some more background on this character?

I'm digging the comic cover of Lucius Hammer

Life as alpha of a werewolf pack is anything but predictable. But even Parker Berenson is surprised by the latest twist: he’s fallen in love with a space alien. Problem is, he suspects Melera, his sexy new flame, might be the serial killer terrorizing Seattle. Or maybe she isn’t. After all, just because she’s an interstellar assassin doesn’t mean she’s guilty.
