I saw a few trailers on the internet for the Clone Wars series. The animation looked good, but the concept leaves me with a burning question: Why is George Lucas stuck in the Clone Wars period? Why doesn't he explore other time periods in the Star Wars universe? There are of plenty of stories and characters he could have created from the age preceding the Old Republic to the New Republic and beyond. It'll be hard for me to get any true enjoyment from the series knowing that Anakin will turn to the Dark Side, the Jedis will be killed or forced into hiding and the Old Republic will become the evil Galactic Empire. This series will be all visual glitz but no suspense. George!! You are obsessed with the Clone Wars! The Star Wars universe is much bigger than the Clone Wars!
