Will Smith and son Jaden Smith will co-star in an untitled sci-fi adventure movie to be directed by M. Night Shyamalan ("The Sixth Sense," "Unbreakable") for Sony Pictures.
The script was co-written by Shyamalan and Gary Whitta ("The Book of Eli"). I'm excited! This could be good. I like Jaden. I was annoyed at the response he got for staring in "The Karate Kid". I thought it was a magnificient film and I don't agree that he is an arrogant child.
As for M.Night. Despite the tragedy that was "The Last Airbender", I often feel like the hate he gets is ridiculous and not warranted. I think he is very talented (in my not so humble opinion) with his weakest films being "Airbender" and "The Happening" (which still wasn't THAT bad).
Anyway, what are your thoughts?
