Joan Higgenbotham Space Shuttle Astronaut

A few years ago, I had the chance to meet a real Black space hero at Chicago's DuSable museum. Ms. Higgenbotham. She flew on a 12-day mission on the Space Shuttle Discovery (STS-116) in 2006.
