Alright!! I saw Meet Dave, the Eddie Murphy sci fi comedy. Those of you lamenting (and justifiably so) the near absence of a black man/black woman romance, will be pleasantly surprised that the creators of this movie ventured into territory Will Smith was not allowed to cross. 1) Eddie Murphy got the woman. 2) The woman was black.Gabrielle Union must be very tired, because she's been running mad laps through my mind!!!Sorry for the digression. Back to the movie.Now, the main characters were not human, but pint size aliens. That may be a down side for some. But at least they looked black. And given that this may be the only summer movie where something even resembling black love is featured, I'll take what I can get from Hollywood while developing my own vehicles!!LONG LIVE SCIENCE FICTION!!
