My husband has turned me on to a serial that was originally published in black newspapers in the 1930's. George Schuyler had some wild and original ideas.My question relates to current lagging newspaper and magazine readership. Wouldn't it be great to have a serial to follow weekly? It could expose new readers to more genres and placate us old and weary newsprint readers with some new vibes.I'm a fan of the old pulps and H.P. Lovecraft stories. I'd be thrilled to read something like that with some serious black flavor.So . . . whaddoyathink?
