I just finished Meji I by Milton Davis and what a ride! Milton has skillfully blended African mythology, sorcery and history to create a seductive world unfolding upon lush, exotic landscapes. His characters are powerful -- yet believable -- and the plot twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat until the final page.Meji I is the read of the summer.Valjeanne Jeffers
