If you've always wanted to journey into space but (1) didn't want to wait until you were dead (e.g., Gene Roddenberry and James Dohan) and (2) you didn't have the 20-28 million USD to become a space tourist or (3) you're still on the Virgin Galactic waiting list... You can at least send your name into space, for free.In conjunction with the Kepler Mission (NASA's search for Earth-sized planets orbiting outher stars) you can have you name (and a message of up to 500 words) added to a DVD that will be launched with the spacecraft:http://namesinspace.seti.org/The deadline for inclusion is November 1 (sorry, I just found out about this today), but you still have two weeks to boldly send your words where they haven't gone before!
