The Bronze Bombers were created in 1988 by Olmec. They were G.I. Joe with soul. "They fight for justice and they never lose."

In 1997 the series was revived with the release of a boxed set of 12 figures. The figures were made from G.I. Joe molds from the early 90s. They were sold as The Bronze Bombers The Enforcers of Justice.
