Over the years as I've been more and more intrigued by anime and other japanese styles of art, I have been exposed to cosplay. Whether it be from Comic-con, anime expo, or other comic book conventions, there is always someone dressing up as a character.
This brings me to a question that has been urking me for quite some time. Can cosplaying be a form of advertisement? And if I is, is it possible for black writers, artists, designers, etc to boost knowledge of their works through cosplay?
