Hi I want to write a YA Sci Fi novel series set in 1950's America, my problem is that I don't want to White Wash History.
My main character's Best Friend is Black Boy of his same age, I refered to his Race as Colored as a Anglo Canadian creator of this series I want to stay faithful to American Racial thoughts.
They are both Outsiders were they live so each Boy became friends,
