I saw battle LA on friday 1st show. its not as bad as some critics say but its not that great either but its a over all get out the house on a friday type of film. LETS FACE IT if you remember the B movie days from the 70's and 80's B movies are still alive today its just that HOLLYWOOD MAKES BIG BUDGET B MOVIES, so if you see a big budget movie thats is bigger then life and it falls short of what is marketed, you caught a B movie so dont feel bad if u think u might have lost money investing on a film. The movies main character does save the film because his story is the glue that keeps the movie going, its not about youth and strength its about old dog /lion training and instinct that wins the fight. Some critics complain about the Aliens design and look, the aliens in this film are like us they have high tech but its not SUPER HIGH TECH. The U.S stealth fighter is a high tech air craft but the chinese was still able to knock one out the sky a few years ago.  If the metal and elements on earth are the same as the ones in deep space it is possible that even an advance alien race can achive space travel with metal/material that can be destroyed by a evolved species on the same or near level. Now i havnt seen a trailer for it yet but while scanning cable channel guides for saturday viewing, there is a Batttle LA film comming on the sci fi channel tonight.
