For all you into anime', Marvel has just released their third collaboration with the Japanese. Blade the Anime' is typical of Japanese stock done in the 'Hardboiled' style of art. This version is in Japanese and subtitled versions will appear later. Just upfront it's full of Japanese cliche's and perceptions of how foreigners act grafted onto Japanese customs and mannerisms. Otherwise, it's definitely violent and more than likely it will fall flat of what Americans (particularly black ones) expect but who knows. It's still early.
