So, what are the thoughts out there on the Luke Cage Netflix series and the possibility of a Vixen series on CW in the Arrow continuity? Personally I'm both excited and leery, since both characters have had, mostly from disinterest on the parts of their respective companies, a fair bit more agency and freedom to develop than a lot of other POC characters. I'm concerned that lazy writing on the part of the shows may undermine their character development to this point by trying to make them "mainstream" and more "normal" (read stereotyped).
