Does anyone wonder about the works by writers like Phillip K. Dick who claim they were divinely inspired to create a work? Do you think something like this is important? I'm an occultist with leanings toward Ifa/Yoruba spiritual system (though I have been holding off on initiation.) I'm always wondering if my ancestors and the most high think my work is good and respectful since I also draw my influence from traditional West African spiritual systems. Does your spirituality go into your work and is it visible? Do you ever feel divinely inspired?
