Noel Clarke, actor and director from the UK who previously held a recurring role as Mickey Smith in Doctor Who, has been cast in J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek sequel.
At this point, it is not fully clear what Clarke’s role will be or how large it is, but it is known that he will play a family man with a wife and a daughter.
Aside from being known for his Doctor Who appearances, Clarke also is known for writing and acting in the film Kidulthood. He also wrote, directed, and starred in the sequel, Adulthood. Zombie fans might also be interested in checking out Clarke in the amusing Doghouse.
