So far, this Steven Spielberg produced project is promising. Alien invaders have come from a distant place to seize Earth and enslave its children. The aliens are quite menacing in appearance and their weapons are fearsome. The mechas will make your blood freeze. The sight of children being controlled by slug like organisms attached to their backs is frightful. Take away the extraterrestrials, but keep the post apocalyptic setting and you'll be reminded of Jericho, for those who are familiar with that short lived series a few years back.
Falling Skies features good drama and solid action.
