who is this man and where has he been my whole life? allow me to explain i began reading black empire by george schyler and i tell you it was one of the greatest early examples of black science fiction. i made it to chapter ten and was to lazy to check it out of NCCUs library but i cant wait to pick it up. i am still incredibly suprised that it was a black man who wrote this as bad as it sounds. why havent i heard of this guy? my guess is because he is on the conservative side of the spectrum and when ever some one from the harlem renisence is mentioned it is usually the liberals and those who are not liberals are made to look liberal or excluded completely.
while ive been wasting my time reading Du Bois science fiction work in dark matter believing it was the first science fiction work of any african american i have hear hear a work that proves other wise. has anyone else heard of this guy or read the book?
