Help! I'm Battling Six Feet Tall Mutant Spiders!

I was taking out the garbage when suddenly a horde of giant mutant, highly intelligent spiders, appeared out of nowhere from all directions.  They tried to surround me but I managed to escape before they could close the cordon. 

I ran to my car, popped the trunk and pulled out an MX8 Concept Tri-Barrel Plasma Discharger gun and proceeded to hose the charging arachnids with rapid fire doses of high energy!!

I slaughtered 150 spiders, but more keep coming.  I need reinforcements and extra firepower BSFS!
