Every now and then I like to start a thread that either gets ignored or inspires great thought from my peers... This is one of those. As a super hero I feel it is my civic duty to snitch on evil doers even though this type of behavior is frowned upon in certain segments of black society. Is this one of the missing links in black super heroism that keeps us from getting black super heroes to the level that Marvel and DC have reached with their characters? What I mean is many of the A list super heroes that we grew up reading about were stand up characters for fighting the good fight against all types of odds even to the point of being corny and yet they prospered valiantly in sales, household name status and iconic status. The fact that many of these characters were white and many black characters that struggled in marketing never quite got over the hump just maybe there are philosophies, ideologies and concepts we may have ignored or missed to financial demise.A long time ago I started a thread titled "Is Black Militancy Ruining Black Sci-fi Or Helping It" and it resurfaced quite often with different responses. Now in the President Obama/iPad era is it the mentality or our subconscious inclination towards views not conducive to super hero temperaments that keep us from experiencing the same or better showings as white super heroes do?Either we are fighting evil or we are joining in evil by default!SincerelySuper Hero Snitch
