For those of you of mixed decent you sometimes face conflicting racial issues where various members of one side or the other does not fully accept you for who you are!
Whether you be President Obama or Halle Berry you can often find yourself trying to overextend your "Blackness" or "Whiteness" for that matter just to appease certain folks ethnic qualification lists!
Then there is the case studies like actor Tom Sizemore where you hide your ethnicity just to keep working in a particular industry...

Along with religion and politics the topic of race is a make or break issue that can both open and close doors at the same time!
There is often taunting and teasing and knowing how cruel some kids can be the trauma can affect that person or persons for years to come as they try to straddle that imaginary race dividing fence!
Biracial children can be considered outcasts on one or both sides of the fence and have to fight fights that others never have to!
Here is the problem with that...
If you reject children of mixed descent then your family becomes that much smaller but if you accept them your consumer base becomes that much larger! Lol
Technically we are all mixed with something I mean who here is really 100% absolutely pure anything!
Wars... Slavery... Baby Mama Drama and whatnot... The black family tree grows in many directions!
Dark Skinned... Light Skinded'... Off White Opaque... Cyan Blue Black... Whatever Whatever... You are all part of the black family tree even if by default!
And YES there are some white people on the bandwagon too so make some room at the family BBQ for those with an Eminem type flavor!
Just substitute the word ivory with Japanese and it's all good with this song...
Note: William Hayashi is actually half as cute as Miss Nagasaki Ariana Miyamoto and he can hit the open jump shot as well... But his defense lacks something to be desired so be cautious about putting him on your basketball team! (smile)
