Hello all,
I am a newbie, and yes I am a long time comic/sci-fi nerd girl, but I have finally decided to try and throw my hat into the independent comic ring. I Just wanted to share some of the art from my Kickstarter project collaboration. It's called "Being Bold".
Just for the record, I'm not a spammer, nor do I believe in spamming. I just try to put my art out there for those that may be interested in seeing more of it, and leave it at that. I let the work speak for itself, whether that be good or bad.
I'm trying to go the independent route and the story centers around a young nerdy teen who develops the ability to transform into a super-powered being...but with a bit of a twist.
This is a labor of love, and the only people to show it to, are those who share the same love of comics, art, and sci-fi I've always had so I thought...why not here?. I hope this isn't out of line. The artist, Rasheed Whalen, is a very talented guy who I got on-board and we sort of collaborated on the story idea.

It's a fun little sci-fi-superhero book with a twist that I put together with a really cool artist, and I think readers will enjoy it. I'm just trying to find people that would be interested in it, and helping make it happen.
