One of the best fantasy tales I've ever read. Besides having all the ingredients that makes up an exciting action adventure story, the Meji series has great, well developed, well thought out characters. The sorcery ranges from enchanting to terrifying, the battle scenes are masterpieces of tactical detail and the settings are magical and majestic.Meji I introduced us to twin brothers who were separated at birth due to the rigors of tradition. Meji II follows the paths they embarked upon on epic quests guided by destiny.I waited a year for the sequel to Meji I. The wait was well worth it. Milton Davis has written a brilliant story, one that deserves a place alongside the works of Tolkien, Howard and of course our very own Charles Saunders!!
