Just had to spread the word about an incredible artist who is not only black and female, but does comics as well. Her name is Ms,Shatia Hamilton and I've been following her work for a few years now. I'm so thankful that more and more women are stepping up in the comic world, and I'm especially pleased that this sister is producing her own fantasy comic with a black main character.
