As the 'Incredibles' and 'Hancock' aptly portrayed, one of the real-world 'death-traps' a superhero would have to regularly face is legal action against them. Think of all the lawsuits for assault Batman would have on the books or the amount of property damage litigation Superman or Wonderwoman would have pending after any one of their 'super battles'? Well real-life costumed vigilante 'Phoenix Jones' is currently up on charges for assault after using pepper spray to break up a drunken brawl. Just shows why Batman doesn't hang around for photo ops after throwin' crooks a beatdown....
