Across the country the relationship between black men and the local police force has deteriorated due to recent unarmed shootings and other scandalous problems!
However, once upon a time black folks were not that welcome in the armed forces which lead to the fame and glory for those known as the Redtails an elite fighter squadron!
With the NWA attitude of "F The Police" the disconnecting divide between law enforcement and black folks has gotten even greater!
Regardless of that the black community still needs police protection for even as there is a standoff it appears that with no enforced laws thugs, gangs, pimps and drug dealers run many black communities without impunity!
While giving the finger to the po po the bad guys who have a strict "No Snitch" policy can do as they please knowing that no one will dare testify against them just to avoid officers of the law!
This could lead to vigilante type practices but since black super heroes do not sell well among black folks to make these idealistic concepts a part of the core thinking primary colors with matching capes is not an option!
At some schools out here in Los Angeles there ROTC type classes that train and teach Black and Latino youth how to prepare for the various police academies for employment in the law enforcement services!
What is often the problem is that many of the "Hip Hop" based youth shun these types of career moves favoring a more standoff approach to cops usually over a bad personal experience they may have had with the boys in blue!
What is often ignored is all the good many officers have done for their respective communities despite the corrupt ones who give them a bad name!
If you feel that the police are not giving you or someone close to you a fair shake then perhaps you should consider showing them how it should be done by either joining law enforcement and helping to clean house or assisting them setting things right!
If all you want to be is an adversary to the law then that may well be the reason why you experience so much lawlessness personally!
At some point something has got to give and every society has a police force to serve and protect even if you don't like it!
Every would be openly or secret black super hero should like this page or suffer in silence...
