We're now accepting both recipes and short stories for our forthcoming title, "The Science Fiction & Fantasy Cookbook: recipes and stories for the kitchen." Recipe submissions: Send us your best recipes for traditional foods akin to the fantasy and science fiction genre.
For Fantasy recipes we're looking for inventive scripts that build a sense of nostalgia for the old times, be it medieval, historic, or from your own imagination. Perhaps you have a recipe for Dragon Soup, or Peasant's Pie, or Wizard Stew. Recipe should include ingredients (U.S. measurements) and detailed directions. No microwaving. We prefer recipes with organic, non-canned ingredients.
For Science Fiction recipes we're looking for inventive scripts that build a sense of the future and outer space. We'd like to see inventive recipes that go beyond the every day. What will soup look like in the future? Or dessert? Have an inventive recipe for Moonbase Pies, or Space-Rocket-Pockets, or Dystopian Egg Omlet? Recipe should include ingredients (U.S. measurements) and detailed directions. No microwaving. We prefer recipes with organic, non-canned ingredients.
