What I like most about this show is that Snoop strongly encouraged his son to play football and seek his own way to direct his own life!
As a father myself I have encouraged my own son to play basketball and his top choice is UCLA and last year he played a travel ball game in Las Vegas at the very school Snoop's son played football at Bishop Gorman!
Bishop Gorman's football field is sick btw as is their school's campus with it's manicured landscape...
Now of course HBCU's are also an option but UCLA is right around the corner and since I have not bought the private jet yet (putting that out there) it will be much easier to attend his games on a regular basis!
What the show represents is black fatherhood at it's core and how with the proper influence you can raise a child to manhood!
Considering Snoop's past life in Long Beach and with Death Row Records one could assume that his son might follow in his controversial footsteps or become something more troubling!
Snoop also runs a youth football league that has produced future D-1 players...

At some point soon we are supposed to visit the UCLA campus with baby boy and see what we need to see as far as his future decision making goes and it he has some time to think things over before high school graduation!
I became the strength coach of his basketball team at my son's persistent requests and the head coach trying to keep me around as a better influence on some of the kids whose parents hardly attend games if at all!
