EPISODE II- PART B

A DREAM CALLED:

'THE WINGED CROCODILE AND THE DISABLED SHAMAN
AROUND AN AFRICAN PYRAMID...'

   >> … Now before I start to tell this story which is most likely new to many here in my house, let me remind you, Young Shaman Kaaaakooo, KaaaaKooo! You must have a title for your DREAM...! Yes! A Title for Your Dream!... AND PLEASE TELL US ALL HERE ON THIS DAY, WHAT SHOULD WE CALL THIS FIRST ENTITLED DREAM OF YOURS ABOUT MY CROCO…???>>

- 'Before The Crocodile Starts To Laugh' That Will Be My Dream's Title.... » Said KaKo, promptly.

***

(Each one trying to reason for himself about it first, they were like repeating silently KaKo’s dream’s title about the single-eyed crocodile of their WE Village…)

… Woo! Woo!... My dear I-Friend Shaman-Traveler, after KaKo expressed this ornate title to all, it seemed impossible for anyone to avoid a real moment of long and simple laughter…! A simple long, laughing moment in this WE-Village-Chief's living room; and then another; until none of them were heard imitating or trying to imitate that crocodile’s laugh… (!)

***

… The same clapping of hands and calls for silence were in the air again. Outside, the old and single-eyed crocodile was vigorously lapping; while inside this WE-Village-Chief's house, some Elders were rubbing their hands: ready, very likely, to point out some tops of heads until starting to touch some to obtain complete silence...

A DREAM CALLED: 'THE WINGED CROCODILE AND THE DISABLED SHAMAN AROUND AN AFRICAN PYRAMID...'

… There used to be a crocodile which lived downstairs and upstairs on a pyramid; it was a crocodile which had to live from the downstairs to the upstairs of that pyramid...

***

So, of course, there were many stairs for him to climb to reach the top of this pyramid. There he could find enough food lying in a special den of his -like a little open box of rocks- Same as, when reaching the ground, this same crocodile could also find, at the bottom of the stairs of this same pyramid, another special and identical den where food could be found also...

So, for this guardian crocodile, the big and terrible problem was this:he could never know for sure -as someone seemed to feed him about every ten days or more...- in which of the two dens his food would be placed... And above all, this guardian crocodile couldn't say which one of these two dens had the powers to delay, for more than ten more days, the coming of his food when some days he seemed to come late: only to capture the smell of an attractive food which appeared to have been
there nonetheless... So, yes, you don't have to be a crocodile guarding a pyramid to feel tired of this give or take, this tit for tat...!

So after many years of climbing up and down those stairs; from the top of the pyramid to the first steps above the ground of the pyramid just looking for his food to avoid starvation; this crocodile dreamed (started to have fixed visions) of getting wings, as he was getting older. His desire to be a more valuable guardian who could go faster to check for his food and move more quickly around the pyramid had grown very intense one day, when he was climbing…

***

… His whole decrepit body and bones were sore, painfully climbing and reaching almost in a fainting state the last stairs leading to this uplifted den above the pyramid. There he saw a den which exposed -on that day- a desirable amount of meat which lay in a disabled-heap-of-lapping-speaking-meat on the ground... (?)

Yes, this old guardian crocodile advanced slowly to check it out. On this day, it seemed to him that this strange food, fidgety on the ground and piled up inside this den of rocks at the top of the pyramid, was lapping-speaking-words to him that were more and more totally understandable...

- … Dear... (Lap!)... My dear... Old... (Lap! Lap!...) Crocodile!... Don't eat me!... (Lap!..) And I'll give you... (Lap!... Lap!...) wings of your (lap!... Lap!) D-R-E-A-M-S...

- … I-Food...!? Lap!... Lap!... I've found and eaten  massive amounts of meat-as-you- now... Lap!... Lap!... I-Food laps...!? How it comes after so many years, that no one except you... lap... likes your lapping... speaking here, expressing words understandable in my own native tongue...?

- Because, on this (lap!... Lap!) day as you and me are speaking (lap!... Lap!) you will (lap!... Lap!...) become another (lap!... Lap!...) type of (lap!... lap!) guardian if you (lap!... lap!) don't eat me!... »

***

Just imagine, my dear I-Friend-Shaman-Traveler: it took a looooooooong time for this crocodile to turn around his lapping-speaking-massive-body-of-meat, as to say to turn around this lapping-begging-massive-body-of-meat, as to say to turn around this lapping-reasoning-massive-body-of-meat-as-food to... to consider and reconsider the deal....

So now, it is said that, this hungry crocodile getting his pair of wings from this unknown disabled Shaman swore on that day that, in his hunting days, he would never fly to catch a disabled human or other disabled creature with a pair of wings that was to roam over… over his kind of pyramids...

Yes, really it is said that, on that day, this guardian crocodile, while rising up from the pyramid, swore, in front of the disabled Shaman, he would never chase a disabled creature with wings flying
vigorously like him, in the same part of the sky above...

***

So now, my dear I-Friend-Shaman-Traveler, to end this part of this disturbing other DREAM, you have to know that this disabled Shaman's Keeper of the Pyramid was in his last stage of initiation also..: Learning how to use all of his magical powers to survive another level or another type of being a Pyramid's Keeper or Pyramid's Warden, as long as the old crocodile was ready to follow him in this transformation, leading both of them to another level of tasks inside and outside this Pyramid...

***

… When the WE-Village-Chief ended his story, Young Shaman KaaaaKoo couldn't stop thinking about his own DREAM... And this other DREAM of a Croco-Beast which mounted and descended the stairs of a pyramid wasn't so strange to him... And now, could this « another DREAM...!? » be adjusted to his choice or option in front of his own speaking crocodile in a DREAM?.. And yes! For sure, in his DREAM, in front of the speaking Croco-Beast, he has chosen which way he wants to be chased by him… So, like a valid villager of SoulShoe Village, with a strong body and a powerful Shaman's mind, he knew for himself he was right in refusing the winged version of being chased after... And hoped the best for his own next coming DREAMS…! But he was still thinking... Deeply comparing both DREAMS... Confronted to analyze all the lapping wings ferociously appearing in his mind from now on; on and on...

TO BE CONTINUED...

In the next episode, we will still be with some WE-Village-Elders, as valuable Notables inside this WE-Village-Chief's living room; and surely we will find the Young Shaman KaKo telling his version of « Before The Crocodile Starts to Laugh »…

END.
