I just saw the spirit and even when sam jackson is in a minor role he shines, this film has tarnished his movie career and is the crappiest movie he has been in. The character of the octopus should have been a easy role to play he has played that kind of character many times before. THE SPIRIT is like watching a bad episode of THE GREEN HORNET in which the Joker and Riddler give him LSD and the HORNET runs around Gothom city not knowing whats going on. the visuals were great but this movie is right up there with that horrible cpt america movie and the fantastic 4 movie that was hidden from sight.
